Zahra and Ali’s engagement session in Northeastern Pennsylvania, was incredibly special. As a long-distance couple during Covid, their in-person time together has been very limited, so capturing these moments together was extra important. We had a gorgeous day at Trexler Nature Preserve for these two lovebirds!
Being a long-distance couple is never easy, but living in separate countries during Covid travel restrictions made it extra difficult. Zahra and Ali have spent most of their relationship apart and even got engaged over FaceTime. When they finally reunited in Pennsylvania for their engagement photos, Ali knew that he wanted to give Zahra the proposal she had missed out on. Towards the end of their session, I let Ali know it was his time – he looked at his beautiful bride, took out the ring box, and got down on one knee. Zahra was so surprised! It was incredibly sweet to watch him do something that clearly made her feel so special.
Trexler Nature Preserve is one of my favorite spots for engagement sessions in Northeast PA! It offers a variety of gorgeous fields of tall grass and a beautiful outlook of the hills below. When Ali and Zahra said they didn’t have any sentimental spots in Pennsylvania for their session I knew I would take them to this tried and true favorite of mine! If you’re in eastern Pennsylvania and looking for an outdoor engagement session location I highly recommend checking out Trexler Nature Preserve!
