Alyson and Paul’s engagement session at Hibernia County Park didn’t quite go as planned, but turned out even better than we could have hoped! The foggy weather created the perfect lighting and the rain held off for most of our session. I had so much fun creating magic in this fall landscape with these two!
Alyson and Paul had driven two hours to get to Hibernia County Park, so when the rain started we decided we were going to go for it anyway. They unloaded their picnic blanket and their Pomeranian Theo, I grabbed my clear umbrellas, and off we went into the woods to create some photo magic! The rain and fog created beautiful and romantic lighting for the session, and for the most part the rain held off! Alyson and Paul really embraced the weather, kissing under the umbrellas and snuggling in the woods before we headed over to the Hibernia Park Dock for some gorgeous waterfront photos. Sometimes rain and fog can be a plus during a photo session, and this was definitely one of those times! I love it when I get to work with carefree couples like these two!
Hibernia County Park is a beautiful spot year round with so many different settings to choose from! We spent our time in the woods and at the dock, but there’s also gorgeous open fields to explore. The park is known for it’s stunning fall colors, but I love shooting sessions here year round! If you’re looking for a beautiful spot for outdoor engagement photos in Chester County, definitely check this one out!
