This engagement session with Courtney and Alex at Wissahickon Park was so much fun! They knew they wanted to take photos somewhere secluded that could include their pup Ollie and I found the perfect location!
I stumbled across this secluded spot in Wissahickon Park a few weeks before my shoot with Courtney and Alec and was blown away. When they said they were open to any outdoor location I knew this was the perfect spot to bring their vision to life! Not only does Wissahickon allow dogs, so their pup Ollie could be included, but this area is totally off the beaten path and perfect for any couple who doesn’t love being the center of attention. It felt incredibly private and peaceful – full of chirping birds and absolutely perfect dappled sunset light through the trees.
Courtney and Alec were so fun to work with! Their adorable Australian Shepherd named Ollie was a fantastic addition to the day. If you are wondering if you should bring your dog along to your engagement session – do it! Look at how cute these photos turned out!! Just remember to bring an extra friend or family member along to take over dog duties while you finish your session.
These two are getting married at The Chauncey Hotel in Princeton, New Jersey this summer and I cannot wait to celebrate and photograph their day. Courtney – you are going to make such a beautiful bride! Keep an eye out for a future blog with these two and – hopefully – more Ollie!
