Julie and Gabe’s intimate wedding at Whispering Pines Estate was full of love and color! The venue’s namesake pines created a respite from the rain as they exchanged their vows under the branches and then spent the evening dancing and celebrating with their loved ones.

The forecast on Julie and Gabe’s wedding day called for some light rain, but nothing was going to dampen the day for these two sweethearts. Fortunately, the old-growth forest of Whispering Pines Estate created a roof of branches over the outdoor ceremony spot! The groomsmen made a spectacular ceremony entrance on the back of a tractor, and I could immediately tell how excited Gabe was to see his bride. From the moment Julie stepped into view the two of them were holding back tears.

After a beautiful ceremony and unity candle lighting, we packed up and headed off to take portraits on the Estate’s property. Thankfully, by this time, the rain had let up entirely and we had a slightly overcast sky — perfect for sunset photos! After portraits, we hopped in a golf cart and were whisked over to the reception tent, where Gabe and Julie made their grand entrance and celebrated their love with friends and family. This was such a fun wedding to be a part of and I’m so glad I get to share it with all of you!

This venue has tons of different photo spots with different aesthetics that made it incredibly fun to photograph. From a really gorgeous old-growth forest with tons of ferns, to a wide-open field of tall grasses, to an adorable tree swing – we had so much fun exploring! The property also has lots of indoor and outdoor space for your reception. Julie and Gabe’s guests played horseshoes and even had a fire pit just a short walk away from the reception tent!
