Emily and Jeo’s romantic wedding day at the Barn Swallow Farm was everything they’d ever dreamed of! Their spring wedding day started off with a misty morning that cleared up just in time for their romantic outdoor ceremony down by a babbling brook. The morning of Emily and Jeo’s wedding was misty and even a bit gloomy. At first, Emily expressed that she was a bit nervous about the weather. Despite the mist, we agreed to push forward with doing her first look with Jeo outside on the beautifully landscaped property. Their first look was super sweet! They embraced underneath umbrellas and misty skies. As soon as Emily and Jeo were together all of their worries subsided and they were only excited for the best day of their lives together! Looking back, Emily told me that she felt like the weather was absolutely perfect for their day and only added to the feeling of romance. I absolutely love mist and fog, because it makes for beautiful moody and vibrant portraits! Scroll down to see what I mean.

These two absolutely tore up the dance floor during their reception, and had smiles glued to their faces from start to finish. Emily and Jeo – thank you both so much for inviting me to be a part of your wedding! You were such a joy to photograph, and it was honestly one of the most fun receptions I have had the pleasure of attending! I know you two will have such a beautiful marriage and I hope I get to photograph you both again at future milestones!

Weddings at Barn Swallow Farm

Barn Swallow Farm in Allan Township, Pennsylvania is such a quaint and romantic venue. If you are looking for a rustic space with stunning outdoor photo locations, I definitely recommend this one! The property is family owned and the staff is nothing short of amazing. They were all so kind and willing to help with anything that was needed. There is also a beautiful stream that flows through the property, which can act as the backdrop for your ceremony or just a quiet spot for portraits. Another great option for portraits is the park across the street with gorgeous wide open views! This venue truly has so much to offer and we loved documenting Emily and Jeo’s day here!
