Lucy and Drew’s elopement in Garden of the Gods was so incredibly beautiful and bohemian! I still can’t believe this gorgeous spot is only an hour from Denver.

Lucy and Drew’s Garden of The God’s Elopement

Lucy and Drew’s special day in Colorado turned out to be even more magical than we could have imagined. After starting our morning with a hike to some of the most iconic spots in Garden of the Gods, Drew found out some amazing news. He got notice that he was officially certified as a firefighter, and accepted his first firefighter position! Lucy was overjoyed for him, and I was so grateful that they could celebrate this news together on such an important day. We spent some time taking portraits at a variety of spots throughout the park, including the Siamese Twins rock formation, before heading to a quiet spot near Sentinel Plaza for them to exchange vows.

About Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods is a national monument located in Colorado Springs; a short 1 hour drive from Denver, Colorado. This park is easily accessible and and jaw-droppingly beautiful, making it a perfect spot for an elopement or micro wedding with a few family members. The park boasts five designated locations available for wedding ceremonies, but smaller groups like ours are able to exchange vows anywhere within the park. Known for its gorgeous red rock, Garden of the Gods is the perfect location for a bohemian, southwestern inspired elopement without having to go to Sedona. And if you want to capture the feel of classic Colorado beauty, you can even see Pike’s Peak in the distance on a clear day.
