Leslie and Will are care-free souls, and our adventure session on Hawk Mountain was a fantastic, laid-back evening. I couldn’t think of anyone more perfect to have a camp-style backyard wedding!

Leslie and Will showed up to their photo session eager to explore and up for anything. We started our session at the first outlook with gorgeous sweeping views of Pennsylvania. Even though Leslie was in heels, when I asked them if they wanted to hike a mile to a second outlook to catch the sunset, they were all for it! I love working with spontaneous couples who put their trust in me. And let me tell you, our second location did not disappoint! Leslie and Will were blessed with stunning cotton candy skies – a beautiful evening for a beautiful couple. At dusk, we hiked back to our cars and chatted about their upcoming camp-style wedding that would take place not far from Hawk Mountain.

About The Couple

Leslie and Will have such a heart for travel! These two have been everywhere from the coast of Maine, the Smoky Mountains of the Carolinas, San Francisco, Arizona, and even New Zealand and Italy. Exploring new places together is a huge part of their relationship, so when we were planning their adventure session we knew we had to find a place where they could do just that. They had told me about their upcoming wedding and their plan to spend the day before hiking Hawk Mountain with their bridal party, and I instantly knew this was the perfect location to photograph their love story. 

About Hawk Mountain

Hawk Mountain is the perfect spot for an adventure session in Pennsylvania. The mountain gets its name from its utilization as a popular bird-watching destination. It’s also home to gorgeous rhododendron blooms, ferns, and plenty of wildlife. And of course, at the top of Hawk Mountain sits a gorgeous lookout with 360 views, which is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. If you are looking for a local adventure this is the perfect spot!
