Courtney and Alec are such a sweet couple! After having so much fun with them and their dog Ollie for their engagement session at Wissahickon Park, I was looking forward to their wedding day and it didn’t disappoint! From start to finish, their day was absolutely beautiful and filled with emotion, and I’m so excited to share it with you.

Weddings at the Laurie House

One of the best parts about getting married at The Laurie House was the ability to get ready on site. Courtney and Alec got ready on separate floors of the Laurie House and Courtney did a beautiful first look with her dad. Once they were both ready, we walked across the property to the lake, where they met for their first look. It was a windy day which only added to the romance, and they were both beaming as they saw each other for the first time. They then shared their vows privately, a unique wedding moment I highly recommend. It was incredibly beautiful and intimate and we were all in tears.

Before their ceremony, we spent a little time exploring the property and taking photos with their wedding party and their pup Ollie. The Chauncey Hotel has a gorgeous gazebo on the lake that was the absolute perfect ceremony backdrop on this beautiful day! Ollie did an excellent job as ring bearer, and Courtney and Alec exchanged rings in a lovely ceremony surrounded by family and friends. After a few more newlywed photos, we headed over to the tented reception space, and these two were ready to party!
