Allison and Alex were a fantastic couple to work with and I’m so glad they found me. They had a specific goal in mind for their Inn at Grace Winery wedding – they wanted a photographer who would capture genuine moments instead of planning and posing the day. They wanted their photography focused on memories instead of details, and I was so excited to provide that for them!

Allison and Alex had a relaxing morning prepping for their wedding celebration. I met the girls as they were getting ready – eating lunch and steaming their dresses. Allison put on her gorgeous asymmetrical gown and they all looked at her in awe. They knew that Alex would have an incredible reaction when he saw her walk down the aisle.

When the moment came for Alex to see his bride everything aligned perfectly and I witnessed one of the sweetest aisle moments I’ve ever seen! Right as Allison began descending the steps into the aisle the wind started gently blowing golden leaves off of the trees into the air, the sky opened up, and raindrops began to softly fall from above. Tears rolled down Alex’s face as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time. As Allison reached Alex at the altar and stood by his side, the rain stopped as quickly as it started. It was one of the most romantic and surreal bridal processions I have ever witnessed!

The rest of their ceremony was filled with laughter and excitement as they committed their lives together. Their friends and family were beaming from ear to ear; so supportive and happy for these two to finally be married! After the ceremony, everyone headed indoors for the reception, where they had an incredible live band. Alex, Allison, and their guests let loose on the dance floor and had an incredible night celebrating the occasion!

The Inn at Grace Winery is a gorgeous venue in the Brandywine Valley. With 35-acres of property, a vineyard, a reception barn, 7 guest rooms, and 8 cottages, the venue really has everything you could need for your wedding weekend. Allison and Alex’s classic garden theme went perfectly with the space, especially the florals in muted pastels accented with deep maroon blooms. This wedding felt incredibly chic and modern while also remaining timeless. If you’re looking for a historic wedding venue just outside of Philadelphia, The Inn at Grace Winery is a fantastic spot!
