I’m so thankful that Instagram connected me with these two lovebirds! Korri and Spencer are a stunning couple, and getting to photograph their love for each other at their Oregon coast engagement session was an honor.

Korri and Spencer’s Oregon Coast Engagement Session

Not many couples are willing to drive two hours to the coast before the sunrise. Fortunately for me, Korri and Spencer were, and it was absolutely worth it! Not only did we have the beach completely to ourselves, but the sunrise provided us with a gorgeous orange light on the iconic Haystack Rock. They ran barefoot into the water as they watched the sun come up, filled with love and excitement for their upcoming wedding.

About the Couple

Korri and Spencer met through their church, and their love for God has always been a large part of their relationship. Spencer proposed to Korri in April of 2021, in the most picture-perfect spot. He had created a stunning vignette on a lake, and completely took Korri by surprise. As the co-owner of a wedding planning company, Korri knew how important it was to find the right photographer. She and I connected on instagram soon after her engagement and we started making plans right away. Not only did I have the pleasure of photographing their Oregon Coast adventure session, but I also got to be a part of their Aurora Oregon Wedding! Korri trusted me to find the perfect location for their engagement session, and we absolutely loved our final decision to start at Cannon Beach and finish by heading over to Hug Point.

About Cannon Beach & Hug Point

Cannon Beach is the perfect location for elopements and engagement photos in the Pacific Northwest. In the background, Haystack Rock emerges from the ocean, and provides a breeding ground for tufted puffins during the spring. This large beach is perfect for long walks and marveling at the surrounding views. Our second location, Hug Point, was well worth the visit, with sea caves, seaside cliffs, forest areas, and beachside waterfalls! Korri and Spencer spent the morning not only taking beautiful photos, but exploring and creating new memories together.
