Kristyn and Mike flew all the way in from Colorado for this stunning Lehigh Valley engagement session! Their adorable Frenchie was the perfect addition to this beautiful summer night.

Trexler Nature Preserve

Although Kristyn and Mike currently live in Colorado, they decided to come home to their families in Pennsylvania for their wedding. While they were here planning, they decided to have their engagement photos taken in Pennsylvania too. We decided to meet up at one of my favorite places in Lehigh Valley: Trexler Nature Preserve! We had a warm evening, with clear skies that let you see for miles. They brought their dog – the cutest little Frenchie – and we had such a great time exploring the park and getting to know each other. Although they were a little nervous in front of the camera at first, we quickly clicked and they totally opened up in front of the camera! I absolutely love how their photos turned out!

In recent years, as I’ve focused my business more on destination elopements and adventure sessions far from home, I’ve been able to find some amazing couples who really align with my vision. Of course, it only makes sense that my elopement couples also love travel, hiking, and adventures! But it’s something extra special when I find those traits in a couple getting married right here in Pennsylvania!

When they first reached out to inquire with me Kristyn and Mike mentioned that they got engaged in Hawaii – one of my favorite places in the world! These two love to travel, and for their honeymoon, they even planned a whole tour of Europe. They are mellow and super spontaneous, and it was so much fun working with them throughout the wedding process. Kristyn and Mike were such great reminders that sometimes adventurous couples still want a traditional wedding! They were dream clients, and I can’t wait to find more couples like them.
