Madeline and Oliver first reached out to me a few months back to plan their winter church wedding. Fast forward to now, and they ended up having the most beautiful backyard fall micro wedding with their closest family and friends. I can’t believe this was the last wedding of the season! Their day was the perfect end to the year; filled with fall colors, the girls in soft heather matching the florals, and Madeline in her lace and silk dress, complete with pockets. Their ceremony space was set up with a beautiful wooden archway in front of tall grasses on a hill overlooking the property. And the reception was held in the most beautiful circular tent, a short walk from the main house besides their barn. The day was gorgeous from beginning to end.
Madeline got ready with her girls in their pool house suite and looked absolutely stunning. She was a vision of such grace as her mom and sisters buttoned up her gown and she stepped into her heels. But what really stood out to me about Madeline and Oliver’s wedding day was the undying support of their union from their family and friends. They smiled through the whole ceremony, and cheered them on through the reception.
When it was time for toasts, their siblings, friends, and Madeline’s father all had one thing similar to say about them. They said that their wedding was never a surprise. Madeline’s sister sharing that she claimed to know they were going to get married before they did. There was such a loving acceptance of Madeline and Oliver joining together as husband and wife. You could tell that they were both already considered family by each other’s families.
Madeline and Oliver, never forget the important of family in your marriage. As you grew up you leaned on your parent’s and your siblings when you were in need. Now as husband and wife you will lean on each other in your time of need. You both so humbly display the heart of Jesus in your lives and I know that you will bring that servants heart into your marriage. I could not be happier for you two!
