Phoebe and Dylan had the adventure session of all engagement sessions at Hawk Mountain last weekend. We took photos as we hiked to the peak of the mountain and right when we got there maybe 20 feet in front of us was a black bear. Yes, a teenage black bear stood in front of us sniffing the ground and when he hear us he looked up and made eye contact with the three of us. Thankfully the bear passed right along, but we all looked at each other stunned at what had just taken place! And we all agreed that is was pretty cool that we could share this story!

How They Met:

Dylan and Phoebe met through Pheobe’s friend who happens to be Dylan’s brother. They were introduced a while back, but continued in separate directions. Dylan went to pursue his snowboarding career in Colorado and Pheobe was at Messiah studying to be a teacher. Fast forward to winter of 2017 where they were reconnected at Dylan’s brothers soccer game. They got to talking and that was the beginning of forever! Phoebe and Dylan have been working on their long distance relationship ever since, and are very much looking forward to being together in PA once they are married.

Phoebe and Dylan, your engagement session was one of the most fun and adventurous sessions I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of. Thank you so much for going with the flow and hiking to these amazing views with me! You guys toughed through the cold, walking through the rocks, and even a coming eye to eye with a black bear and if that doesn’t make you awesome then I don’t know what does?! But seriously, you two have been so fun to hangout with and I am so excited for your wedding day to be here!

Dylan proposed to Phoebe in the mountains of Colorado, so it was fitting that they chose a mountain for their engagement session as well! These two love the outdoors and traveling. They are always up to see where the night takes them!
