Dayna and Zach booked this wildflower couples session just 2 months before their wedding day, because why not celebrate those last moments of being engaged!! The smiles did not leave their faces through out the entire session. You could see their giddy excitement in their eyes to know that they would be saying I do in such a short time.

Who says you can only have one engagement session?! These two fell in love with the location and wanted more photos for their house, so they figured why not book another session before their big day! There is no right or wrong way to do your engagement session. Many couples end up having both proposal photos and engagement session photos, or multiple engagement session photos in order to make sure they have plenty of practice for the wedding day!

My suggestion is ALWAYS to have at least one session with your wedding day photographer before the big day. That is why I offer complimentary engagement sessions to all of my couples! Even if you had photos done by another photographer or friend, it is so important to meet your wedding day photographer ahead of time, see how they pose, and get comfortable in front of their camera. And after you’ve had your session with your photographer, who says you can’t book a few more just for fun!

I love the fact that Dayna and Zach added this extra session in before their big day, it wad the perfect way for them to reconnect and start to get excited for what is to come.
