We headed up towards the Poconos for this weekend’s wedding and we watched as our car passed the trees, and they got more and more colorful. The first week in October is the perfect timing for a Pocono wedding. The setting was perfect with green, yellow, red, and orange colors speckled throughout the fields. The girls dressed in deep maroon and matched the landscape perfectly. The beautiful bride, Gabrielle, stood out against the colorful backdrop in her stunning white dress from Maggie Sotterro Designs. Emotions were high and everyone was so happy to be there to witness and celebrate this event with Gabby an Jim.

These two had one of the most beautiful first looks I have seen, possibly ever! They stood back to back as they read their personal vows to each other. Gabrielle, started. She read the first sentence out loud and then paused. She pursed her lips and looked up to the sky as tears fell from her eyes. And when she gained her composer she continued reading and telling Jim how perfect he was for her and how she promised to love him forever. Then Jim took his turn saying, “Gabrielle, you have always been my soul mate,” at this point my eyes were welling up too! With teary eyes all around, my eyes were fixed on my lens and my finger was quick on the shutter to be sure to savor each and every second of this moment these two shared.

Gabby and Jim, thank you so so much for letting me into your lives to share in such a small part of your story together. It warmed my heart hearing about how each aspect of your wedding day, the venue and bands you chose, were a part of each of your stories, and how they brought you two together.
