Pocono Mountains Engagement Session

Brie and Chris’s Pocono mountains engagement session at Hawk Falls was such a fun adventure! Chris proposed at horseshoe bend in Utah and they wanted an engagement session that would represent their love for the outdoors and adventure.

Brie and Chris are the best kind of people, super easy to talk to and make you feel so comfortable to be around. We felt like good friends by the end of the session and really enjoyed all the twists and turns that are part of hiking during your session (including hiking down unknown trails, climbing rock faces, and just exploring the great outdoors!) We ended the session by celebrating their engagement with a champagne toast in front of the falls!

Pocono Mountains Engagement SessionHow They Met:

“We actually dated when we were 13 and little baby freshman in high school. We were on the same cross country team and I thought that he was the cutest kid ever but naturally, he was really shy and we never really spoke. We were on the same bus and I know this sounds nuts, BUT, there was always a broom that was in between the seat and the window and I would always try to bump it into him so that he would talk to me. Talk about a typical 13 year old girl! It never really worked that well, but, rumor got out that I had a crush on him and somehow we ended up dating. Being young at the time, we eventually broke up and went our separate ways but still remained friends throughout high school and college. Fast forward a few years until after college, we somehow kindled the flame and started dating again!”Pocono Mountains Engagement Session

Pocono Mountains Engagement SessionA Little Bit More About Their Story:

“In college we both started seeing other people which made us realize what we wanted and didn’t want in a relationship and made our relationship the second time around a lot stronger. When we first started dating, we did long distance for about a year and then Chris moved down here to Philadelphia. We have been living together for about 2 years now and cannot wait for our wedding next year!Pocono Mountains Engagement Session

“A few things that make our relationship work so well are being open and honest, having a willingness to compromise, being our true playful selves and always being there to support and take care of each other.”Pocono Mountains Engagement Session
