Amy and Sean began renovating their home in early 2020, and had reached out early on to plan a photo session in the house once it was finished. When covid hit, our plans were pushed back a full year, but it made the session even more special when the time came!
I met Amy when planning my own wedding in 2019. She was my day-of coordinator and I absolutely couldn’t have done it without her! She was so incredibly helpful and organized and designed the most gorgeous custom invites for our day. She is now the owner of Dragonfly Paperie where she creates hand crafted keepsake wedding stationary! I was so happy to finally get to return the favor by photographing her and her little family!
Sean and Amy did a fantastic job designing their home, and it was so fun to photograph. Every inch of their house felt uniquely theirs. It felt like everywhere that I turned there was another detail that was custom made. My absolute favorite was the renaissance portraits of their pugs over the dining room table! It was so clear how much love and effort went into designing this home and making it truly unique.
Amy and Sean really wanted to prioritize documenting their life as well as their home. We got some really sweet photos of them doing their favorite things, like sipping coffee at the table and snuggling with their three pugs. Of course, their pups stole the show, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! It was so lovely getting to document their life together and the gorgeous home that they have built, and I hope I can continue to photograph future milestones for them!
