This Overlook Park engagement session was filled with glowing light and amazing memories! From the moment I met Madeline and Oliver, I knew they were going to be a joy to work with. They both have such kind souls, and are also so fun! They laughed through their whole session and never took themselves too seriously, which is the perfect recipe for amazing fun candid photos!

How They Met:

“Oliver and I grew up together. Our families have been friends for years and really started spending more time together when we were in high school. We went to separate colleges, but started dating long-distance spring of freshman year. One day during Christmas break, Oliver asked me out on a date and I said yes! 

Some of the things we enjoy include spending time with friends and family, visiting new places, and playing board games. We are most excited to have all of our friends and family together in one place and to celebrate all that the Lord has done in our lives!”

The Proposal:

“We went on a family beach trip between Christmas and New Years. Oliver took me on a sunrise walk on the beach. While we were on the beach he stopped to, “get a rock out of his shoe.” He kneeled down in front of me and pulled the ring right out of his high top chucks! I was so surprised! I didn’t expect him to propose so soon.”

“We are excited to travel together in the future, to live everyday life together, and to have a family!!”
