Kayla and Colin traveled out to see the beautiful cherry blossoms in DC for their engagement session and boy was it worth it! We met up first thing in the morning and got to walk along the basin as the sun rose. We watched the sunrise over the Washington monument and then it was time to start our session! I snapped photos as Kayla and Colin strolled along the basin, giggling and sharing kisses. Colin twirled Kayla underneath the blossoms and pulled her in for a sweet kiss, and guys I don’t know if I’ve ever seen something so magical! 

We continued to explore the basin and everything the blossoms had to offer. I was their true hype girl, screeching with excitement as they danced under the cherry blossoms and celebrated each other and their love. They couldn’t have asked for a better session or day for these two. 

The session ended at the massive Lincoln memorial, some of my favorite photos of the whole day. The columns are just so staggeringly beautiful, but what made the whole trip worth it was these two. They woke up sooo early to make the trip and their attitude was everything! And were down for whatever and enjoyed every moment of their engagement photos in the iconic location.

Kayla and Colin, you two are such an absolute joy! Your the type of people who instantly put people at ease and are just fun to be around. I love your go with the flow attitude and your commitment to seeing these trees in bloom, obviously! lol. I cannot wait for your wedding day and to see where God will take your relationship in the future!
