Philadelphia Engagement Session locations | Pennsylvania wedding photographer | Downtown Philly Engagement Photos

I don’t have sessions in the city very often, but I’m so glad these two asked for an engagement session in downtown Philadelphia! I had so much fun exploring new spaces and I’m totally blown away by how these photos turned out! Jenna and Matt were so fun to work with and I can’t wait to share their wedding photos with you soon.

Engagement Photos at Rittenhouse Square Park

Jenna and Matt live in Philadelphia and absolutely love the city. One of their favorite date night activities is dinner in the city followed by a walk through Rittenhouse Square Park, so it made perfect sense to start their engagement session there. This was the perfect sentimental and nostalgic location for them. It’s a total urban oasis and we were so excited to see that the roses were in bloom for our session.

Philly Rooftop Engagement Photos

After some time exploring Rittenhouse Square Park, we decided to head to our second and final destination – a parking garage with a rooftop view of center city! When Jenna told me about her vision for her photos she knew she wanted a city view, but she also wanted to do something new and different to make it a bit of an adventure. This unique view of the city at sunset was just that and boy, did it turn out to be incredible!

The parking garage we shot at overlooks Philadelphia City Hall and the Masonic Temple, which are two of the most iconic pieces of architecture in the city. These historic buildings stood in contrast with the ultra-modern high rises in the background, and truly captured the essence of Philadelphia! We had so much fun taking in the views and enjoying a quiet evening on the rooftop. I learned so much about these two and their love for the city (and the Sixers), and it truly made me so excited for their wedding day.

Jenna and Matt are an incredible couple and their wedding at Fairmount Waterworks was absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to share their wedding photos with you in a few weeks!
