Sara and Jon’s colorful boho wedding at Longacres Farm, was truly a labor of love. Sara and Jon planned this wedding so meticulously to make the day a true reflection of their relationship and their love for one another. From her wearing her grandmother’s necklace, to hand picked pampas, handmade signs, and hand plucked trees, this day was special moment to moment.

Jon turned to Sara and offered the watering can to her. Sara smiled and shrugged her shoulders, as if to tell him to go first. They took turns watering the potted tree that Jon’s grandfather dug up off of his own property in Vermont. Everyone watched with tears in their eyes as this beautiful uniting ceremony took place.

When Jon had finished adding water, he handed the can to Sara. They giggled as Jon helped her to water the plant, by moving some of the branches out of the way. Their families, who had watered the tree before them, stood behind them and smiled. This tree, passed down through generations, is now planted at Sara and Jon’s home, and is a symbol of their love for one another. And just as this trees roots will grow strong and the tree will grow larger, so will Sara and Jon’s love grow in strength and in magnitude.

Sara and Jon, thank you so much for allowing us to be just a small part of your wondrous and adventurous love story! I know that you two will continue to explore the world together and my wish for you both is that you will experience beauty throughout your journey, not only in the destinations and landscapes, but in your experiences and in each other.
