Historic Shady Lane Wedding

Shady Lane Wedding

The white sunlight rained in through the window like a gift of unending blessings, as it flowed through Sierra’s sheer vintage gown hanging there at History Shady Lane, and twinkled off of the old fashioned vases surrounding it. Being a part of Sierra and Thomas’s wedding day and love story was like being a part of a nostalgic time where chivalry is not dead, moments seem to pass just a bit more slowly, and everything holds more beauty than you can bear to contain. The love surrounding Sierra and Thomas by their friends and family was astounding, and the love between the two of them is truly a story worth sharing.

Holding the microphone, Sierra’s best friend, told the story of how one sweet compassionate girl with a love for old styles and old music fell into the hands of a man even more selfless than she was. A man who shared her love and her tastes. She told about how they quickly became inseparable. They grew together by going on dates to record stores and listening to one of their favorite oldies, Simon and Garfunkel, which they chose to include into their engagement session as well. Sierra and Thomas danced the night away to the sounds of the Unforgettable Big Band, swing band, and man can these two dance!

Sierra, and Thomas, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to a part of your day and your story. Your love for each other has truly been an inspiration to me, and I am sure to many others as well. You two have been counting down the days for months now, but as of Saturday, you two are now Mr. and Mrs. Costanzo. Here’s to counting up the days together, to new memories and traditions, and to your love being the one thing that will stand the test of time. Congratulations to the sweetest love birds I know!
